Our M3 Shoulder Head Spring Screws are specialized fasteners designed for applications requiring precise alignment, floating movement, and vibration resistance. Unlike standard screws, they feature a smooth, precision-ground shoulder beneath the head and a pre-assembled pressure spring. This unique design allows the screw to act as a pivot or guide, while the spring maintains constant pressure, preventing loosening. Made from carbon steel and finished with zinc plating, they are a cost-effective solution for automation, electronics, and machinery.

How to Use
- Preparation: The spring is pre-assembled. Identify the smooth shoulder and the threaded end.
- Insertion: Insert the smooth shoulder through the clearance hole in the top component. This hole should be a close fit to the shoulder diameter (~3.0mm) to guide the screw. The thread will protrude through.
- Alignment: The shoulder will align the components. The spring will be compressed between the screw head and the top component's surface.
- Driving: Using a PH2 Phillips screwdriver, drive the threaded end into the receiving threaded hole or a nut on the other side.
- Tightening: Tighten until the desired clamping force is achieved. The long shoulder allows the top component to "float" or pivot slightly even when the screw is tight. The spring maintains tension. Do not over-tighten.
